Lae Nani #222

I love Lae Nani for its island location; somewhat centrally located for day trips north & south. I also love its proximity to the ocean and the lovely swimming pool. The room itself has everything necessary for a comfortable stay; however, some of it looks a bit tired. The beds were quite comfortable though. We had to purchase toilet paper part way through our stay and also some WD40 to get the patio screen door to open all the way. When I looked for a place to store the remaining WD40, I saw two additional cans of WD40 on the shelf in the laundry area, so this must be an ongoing problem. The microwave was not working when we arrived, however, Krisha quickly brought us a replacement.

This condo was fabulous. It was clean, had a fabulous view and was in a nice are. It was also near shops and a few restaurants though we chose to cook there. They had gas grills so we were able to handle our own meals beautifully. We also loved the chickens! Such a strange thing to love but they were awesome! The only tiny little issue was the floors were not super well insulated so we could hear every step of the family above us. Regardless of that we had a wonderful time and the condo is very well maintained!

Nice layout for 2 couples. Essential furnishings, clean and well maintained. We appreciated the beach supplies — chairs, umbrella, cooler.

We love this resort and have stayed here every time we come to Kauai. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. The communication was very prompt.

The grounds of Lae Nani are lovely. We chose Lae Nani partly for the beach swimming area for littles and the great central location. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the walled off beach area due to a brown water advisory but we did love and use the pool and wonderful lawns. Loved the central location for trips to the north or south shores. The pool is a good size. With a young one in our group, we liked that it is fenced. The pool was rarely busy and often we had it to ourselves or with just one or two other parties. Not much shallow area for really small children (stairs only). Staff seem to enjoy their work, always smiling and pleasant. Our own unit had an incredible view and large lanai. A few biting insects at dawn/dusk, but not bad. Cupboard on lanai well stocked with a variety of beach gear - 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards, skimboard, noodles, beach toys, toddler flotations, etc. Also a pack & play in bedroom closet. The living area is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Some spices, oils and tea. Blender & coffee maker. Nice to have washer & dryer in unit. No air conditioning, but fans above each bed and in living room moved air. Given a choice I'd prefer a unit with AC. Suggestions: would be nice to have shoe shelf & hooks by door. Hooks on lanai & in bathrooms would be nice too. Generally quiet - at times heard vehicles in parking lot, likewise birds (shearwaters sound like crying baby) but none loud or an issue.

My family loved this rental. We stayed 5 nights. The view is great! That pool was large and the ocean was a very short walk away. There is also a restaurant right on the beach that is easily walkable.

The place is great - has everything you need, is right on the beach and close to a market place. The property is gated, and the parking is convenient. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay here was amazing. The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed, the pool and the beach were wonderful. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I strongly recommend staying here!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this unit. The unit was clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The view from the unit is beautiful, with great ocean views, beautiful grounds to look at, and the pool in front of the unit.
We loved the location ! We were able to walk to do shopping, go out to restaurants and enjoy lovely walks along the water. We also found it was a great central location for drives up north as well as to the south side of the Island.
We would not hesitate to book this unit again and highly recommend it.

was basically a good experience . many pluses about this condo with only a couple negative . older building is quite noisy . people and cars coming and going roosters crowing . lots of stomping from the unit above us . other than that it was pretty good

The condo itself was lovely and clean and had the most beautiful view. The complex was beautiful, the saltwater pool was amazing and having its own beach access along with a keki area was an absolute plus! Location is pretty central. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week!

As always Lae Nani did not disappoint, had a great stay

Had a wonderful stay with husband and friends. This rental had everything we needed and was very clean. With beautiful beachside views and access, along with a pool to boot. We will definitely be coming back to Lae Nani!

My daughter and I did a last minute booking to Kauai. We wanted to stay centrally located since we were only on the island for 4 days. This place was perfect for that! We were able to see most of the island without a long drive in any direction. The unit was super clean, well stocked without being over stocked. There were beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and everything we needed. The complex is really well maintained and located within walking distance of some great places to eat, such as Lava Lava and other places. We would highly recommend this unit! The manager was great and responded to our needs immediately!

Beautiful view,location,grounds and vegetation. Furniture a bit dated and could use more color, in fabric and wall hangings.
Pocket door in bathroom hard to unlock and screen door to deck needs repair (hard to open and close).
OCan't get decent picture on tv when use, could be tv cable box or modem. Overall though very nice place.

This place was amazing! The location was ideal. It was a short walk to the beach, a great breakfast spot, amazing restaurant on the beach and a cute market with shops around it. The location on the island was great too. It was seemed centrally located so driving to our day’s activities were all pretty close. I have already recommended this rental to my family and friends. And if we visit Kauai again we’d definitely stay here again!

On the island for some rest and relaxation and to warm up from an Alaskan winter. This rental gave us everything that we needed. On the beach with great views and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. We couldn’t ask for more.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful condo in Kapaa. Our view, proximity to pool, the home amenities, etc. all made for such a nice vacation. We would love to come back next year!

Everything we needed and more in this spacious 2 bedroom condo overlooking pool, garden and steps from beautiful beaches. Everything you need to relax with friends and / or family and close to everything on the island including hiking, snorkeling, surfing etc.

We loved our stay at Lae Nani 222. The rental was clean, had a wonderful view of the ocean, and had everything we needed for the week. We would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay- the condo property description was totally accurate regarding the location, unit amenities, VIEW, etc. The unit was very clean & well maintained. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Equal distance to the South and North end of the island. AWESOME views from the balcony! Krisha w the property management group was very responsive and provided all the info we needed on a timely basis. She was a very warm host. We will definitely be staying in this exact unit again and highly recommend it to others!

We enjoyed our stay the view was amazing the condo was comfortable It's a great location There was a closet full of water toys and chairs but the chairs were very rusted and the beach towels were frayed.Just very small details that could easily be corrected We had a small bump when we arrived the codes to get in the main gate we're not correct Thankfully someone let us in because it was 10 o'clock at night The number to get into the pool was also incorrect and we had no parking pass... People have plugged in things so many times that the electrical plugs pushed in when you tried to plug something into them. Like I said these are just small details that maintenance could have been avoided but overall we loved our stay

The resort is well maintained, beautifully landscaped, a great pool. The beach is a swimmer’s beach. A protected shallow area for children is provided. Grills by the pool are also provided. There is no hot tub. There are two recycling stations on the resort and a recycling bin in each unit to accumulate the recycled items.

The resort is located within walking distance to restaurants (next door), markets and stores. Farmers markets are nearby.

Our unit #222 was clean, with a well-furnished kitchen and the beds were comfortable. My wife appreciated the pantry cupboard to store dry goods.

Thank you for the housekeeper who did a great job preparing the condo for our arrival. Everything was clean and ready for us early.

Really appreciate the computer desk in the living room. Sometimes we have to set up at the kitchen table or an end table in the living room in order to use our computer.

The view from the balcony is amazing, overlooking the pool, the ocean and the mountains in the distance. Everything you expect Hawaii to be.

There is no air conditioning but the constant breeze from the ocean keeps the unit cool.

The closet on the balcony contained beach chairs and beach equipment for children and teens.

Love the towels – thick and fluffy

We highly recommend Lae Nani #222. Condo is clean and well appointed and , best of all, has a fabulous view. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with a nice little beach and pond and a terrific beach for riding the waves right next door. It’s in the perfect spot to get to the north and south shores and explore the island but there is also plenty to do if you prefer to stay in the general area. We would not hesitate to rent this condo again!

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay in 222. The unit was nicely decorated, well stocked and clean. It looked to be recently renovated. We had a lovely surprise when discovered the closet off the lanai full of beach supplies - chairs, cooler, toys, boogie boards etc. Beach towels are also provided. Krisha, the property manager, was very quick respond to texts.
The location was perfect and very walkable. My kids loved exploring the beautiful grounds and swimming at the enclosed beach. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, overlooking pool and beach, sound of ocean ornate the unit, walking distance to marketplace and restaurants. Beds are comfortable, lots of beach toys on to use.
