Olivine Surf Lodge

We had a fantastic time staying at the Olivine Surf Lodge. We were right on the golf course, and close to Hanalei Bay. The beds were comfortable, and the space was clean. I loved the hammock outside as well. Highly recommend.

The Olivine Surf Lodge is an ideal location on the north shore of Kauai. The town home feels like home - clean, well-provioned and maintained, and with a beautiful view over the golf course to the water. The bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious, and the main living spaces gracious and open. The hosts take special care in making the place welcoming. It is quite and allows easy access to all the northern and mid-island sites. The drive to Waimea Canyon was only 75 miles and easy. Life on that part of Kauai feels unhurried and peaceful, and the unit only enhances that effect. We will return.

Nice condo with wide open view of course and ocean. You must have a car here as amenities are not walkable—tho very close by with car. This is a clean, well stocked condo with great kitchen stuff and generous amenities in the baths. The paint is fresh and the carpets clean. Great little getaway.

We really liked the condo. It was clean and bright with lovely views. Kitchen had everything you could want pots, dishes etc seemed brand new. It was quiet and in a great location. Would highly recommend to others

We returned to this unit as we enjoy the view, the quiet area, the walking proximity (for us) to restaurants and grocery store. The unit is spacious has comfortable bed, nice linens & towels and all appliances are in good working condition.

We had a great time at the Surf Lodge. House is very well stocked and in a great location. We could see sunset and hear the surf from the lanai. Cute touches inside including house branded coffee mugs and soap. Foodland grocery store nearby and cute restaurants in Hanalei. Would definitely recommend.

The aloha amenities were top notch. We loved everything about this place. I will definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent, extremely comfortable stay at the Olivine Surf Lodge. We had an incredibly long journey to Kauai, and found the townhouse to be immaculate, extremely clean and fresh, and well stocked for our entire week's stay. We loved using the organic soaps and lotions supplied the bathroom, the beds and linens were so soft and comfortable (we slept like a log all week!), enjoyed the Hawaiian breezes blowing through the windows, and felt the townhouse was ideally located for us to reach all of our destinations that week. The grocery store and shops were so close, the neighborhood was walkable, and we loved the close proximity to the beaches. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with supplies to cook meals, we had plenty of towels, laundry soap, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for the entire week. It was such a relief to not have to deal with getting any of that after such a long journey. All the details were already met for us. We didn't even have to do much upon departure, because the owners understood how long our travel times were.
Overall, we were so comfortable and happy in this immaculate townhouse. Very good Hawaiian vibes! We had such a relaxing time the entire week, because the townhouse provided us with all that we needed to unwind and simply enjoy Hawaii. Thank you!

Great experience the owners did a great job of making sure everything went flawlessly. I even have an issue with my rental car and they help me out with that which I really appreciate it

The rental was supper clean and perfect size for 2 couples. Beautiful location and easy walk to Princeville market and stores. Great hike to the beach below the property.

Excellent property, end unit with amazing views. Clean, extremely well stocked . Property management companies good communication. Easy entry and departure. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Have rented over 20 vacation properties over last 6 years and this is a favorite!

Our stay at the Olivine Surf Lodge was exceptional from start to finish. We had a very late check-in on our first night, which Krisha accommodated without any issue. She sent a few videos and detailed information for how to reach the condo, which was very helpful since it was dark and Google maps initially took us to the wrong street. The condo was all we had hoped and more. Everything was immaculate, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen was stocked with all of the basics we needed, and there were many extras provided such as beach towels, lovely fragranced shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and after-sun balm, and many interesting books to enjoy during our stay, such as the New Kauai Movie Book (a great reference that helped to guide some of our excursions!). We enjoyed everything from the lovely decor inside the condo to the stunning view just outside the door. The condo has a great view of the golf course and the ocean in the distance, is just steps away from the pool out the front door, and has lots of windows to take in the sun, views, stars, and breezes. It was actually a little bit cool during our stay, so a few more blankets in the closet would have been good, but we managed with the throw blankets from the couches. The only thing I wish had been more clear was the recycling instructions. The guidebook in the condo said there was no recycling on-site, but when I went back over the email instructions at the end of our stay, it said that the rental company actually can take any accumulated items for recycling and dispose of them appropriately. I wish we had seen that earlier, or that there had been a reminder near the trash can in the kitchen as there were in many other places around the unit. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back and stay again someday!

We loved it so much, we have already planned to go back. The location is perfect, as it sits on a golf course. There are amazing views of the ocean. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need. We also loved the little touches that made it super cute and modern.

This place is nice and has great amenities. Very clean, thoughtful, and professional. We struggled with how hot it can get without AC. There are plenty of fans and it does cool off at night with the windows open, however the place gets hot! Very nice touches throughout, such as after sun gel, nice beach towels, nice boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, and little treats. The location is nice, near a Foodland, and central to surrounding beaches and hikes.

We loved the floor plan of this unit. My friend had the larger upstairs bedroom, with the walk-in closet and the extra living area. I had the downstairs bedroom (no steps!). Having the bedrooms on separate floors gave us all the privacy we needed.
The unit is close to the parking lot, but not close enough to hear any noise from cars. There are now recycling bins for the complex, conveniently located in front of the parking spots for Building 12.
Unit 12A is a short walk to the Westin, where we had drinks and dinner at Nanea multiple times during our week long stay. The location on the golf course meant we had an open view towards the gorgeous Kauai sunsets every night. And if there is no moon, or any clouds, it is easy to walk out onto the golf course to look at the stars at night.
We booked a standup paddle board lesson through Kauai Fun Activities (kiosk next to Foodland) and then rented boards the next few days. Fred, our patient instructor, delivered the boards to us at Anini Beach - a great place for beginners to practice standup paddle boarding.
The property manager was easy to reach if necessary. We would definitely rent this unit again!

Our family really enjoyed the Olivine Surf Lodge. It was comfortable for the whole family, the view of the ocean and golf course was extraordinary, and the proximity to hiking, groceries, restaurants, and beaches was excellent. The home is well-maintained and the beds were very comfortable. The fans throughout the house kept a nice breeze and the pool was a very short walk. The management also left a booklet that helped us find things on the island, and they were responsive when we couldn't find the pool key.

We stayed for 16 enjoyable nights! This was our 5th trip to Kauai and Princeville, we love Kauai and were delighted with the townhouse, location, views, layout and amenities.

Highly recommend this place. The extra touches such as the generous welcome basket, quality soaps and bath products were all very much appreciated!

We loved hearing and seeing all the birds, watching the spectacular sunsets and especially the quiet location. The space is lovely, thoughtfully decorated and really comfortable.

Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable. Kauai is heaven on earth, Princeville is just stunning and every time we visit the island we discover new and wonderful places to see, experience and explore.

Everything in this rental was top notch. Clean and well thought out, very comfortable. The.bath and body products were awesome and well appreciated. Our only issue was that there were many bugs in the upstairs bedroom/loft area. The exterminator was just there, but they were getting in from around the window..

Beautifully appointed, this condo was clean and filled with thoughtful touches throughout.Furniture was comfortable and stylish, cool art on the walls, and three giant surfboards completed a casual and beachy vibe. Well equipped kitchen, everything you'd need for a day at the beach, and toiletries that smelled good! I'm already dreaming about my next visit.

My husband and I spent two weeks in this condo ( June 20-25, 2021). This property is in a beautiful location and every morning i enjoyed my coffee watching the ocean straight from our kitchen! The condo was super clean and extremely well ventilated as there are many windows on 1st and second floor and fans every where. We were concerned about the heat but we had absolutely no issue. The property is extremely managed and everything you may think you need was available, The property manager was extremely helpful and provided ahead of time all the info for a smooth checkin. We enjoyed very much our stay, the beauty around us and the calm and quiet at night. Thank you!
